RISAA Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association, The New England Saltwater Fishing Show is March 19 - 21, 2010

Ultimate Kayak Fishing will have a spot there, booths 612 and 613 1111 and 1112 so let me know if you have time to help out. Leave a note here if you can spend some time with us, and I will have entry pass to the show for you.

Check out the New England Saltwater Fishing Shows website. Don't forget to support the sport and join <a href="http://risaa.org/" target="_blank">RISAA</a> they are representing over 6500 anglers in New England. They need our support and we need theirs with all the controversy going on with fishing licensing and lost rights when it comes to access.

Try the "Pay it forward" rule when fishing in 2010 and the fish will smile at you "Shit Fiske".

Hi Matt,

We receive multiple passes that we use to come in and help out. Since we can share the time and space in the booth we all get to see the show.

Some people come one day or all days, it don't matter. If you have time to show one day let me know and I'll meet you at the door.

Fishing is not a matter of Life and Death, It's much more important than that!!!

I echo Nils’ encouragement to visit the New England Salt Water Fishing Show, March 19-21 at the RI Convention Center. It is a tremendous show. Those of you who have been know all this already; but it is easy to take good things for granted and to think they will always be there. The way this show is being executed these days is really something to be savored.

If you haven’t been, it is worth the gas. There is no retail outlet, mega or otherwise, that can compare to the depth of product offerings and the depth product knowledge at the show -- manufacturers reps for most of the major tackle companies, Ocean Kayak reps, and Hobie dealer, seasoned charter captains, and a great lineup of seminars. You can get show deals on equipment that will not be matched at any other time in the season.

Check out the site, New England Saltwater Fishing Show and print out a discount coupon if you plan to come.

Bob

PS. David Giuliano and I will be doing a reprisal of our kayak fishing seminar, if you didn’t get a chance to see it in Mystic.

Bob, you forgot to give people the day and time(s) you do she seminar. I went to the one in Mystic and I recommend your seminar to anyone who is new (or seasoned) to kayak fishing. David and Bob will put you miles ahead in the learning curve. Bring a notepad and pencil to take notes, it's a tremendous amount of knowledge pouring from both of them.

Just a FYI to everyone, our booth numbers have changed to 1111 and 1112 so don't look for us at 612-613

Thanks for the nice compliment. We will be doing our presentation at 11 am on both Saturday and Sunday (20th and 21st) We are a small part of a great schedule/show. For example, Mike Neto's presentation on fishing for stripers off Block Island is well worth it. I went out with him with my dad and my son and his friend several years ago, before I took my kayak on the ocean. We caught 800 lbs of stripers that day! He really knows how to get stripers on light tackle around the island.

Best,

Bob

PS. Please introduce yourselves if you come to the seminar. I really appreciate what you have going here and would like to meet more members.
