Living here in KY, deer hunting is a way of life. But all this talk of kayak fishing, and all the help the members of this forum have given me, I am planning a crappie fishing trip out of my kayak as soon as deer season ends. And I have to say, I am looking forward to deer season ending so I can get out there and fish! My first trip is planned for Friday, NOV 30th in an old gravel pit that used to be connected to the Ohio river. There are loads of big crappie in this lake just waiting to be caught biglaugha.gif

Enjoy your fishing kayak. Be cautious, yak fishing becomes addicting. The first big fish that pulls your kayak around the lake will set the hook in you.

If I can figure out what they are biting on, I am planning on trying to striper fish on one of KY's best striper lakes, lake Cumberland. 40+ lb fish are not uncommon on that lake. biggthumpup.gif
