Tomorrow is another day for us but for a lot of families it's a day they wish never happened.

Take some time out and pray for the people protecting us and the freedom we take for granted.

Anytime you see a firefighter or a policeman tomorrow - Say Thank you. They have a job that I don't think I could do.

Thank You and GOD bless you - terrorists will not win because of people like you.

Nils, you couldn't have said it better.

Five years have passed and the world continues to get crazier. This is certainly a time to stop and reflect upon the freedoms we all share and enjoy. In a vast majority of the world, people are not afforded the opportunities we so frequently take for granted on a daily basis.

May God bless the folks that protect our freedoms: The soldiers, firemen, and police officers of the United States of America. These are these true heroes and on the 5th anniversary of 9/11, there is no better time to pay homage to these people.

9/11 was the day we as a country stopped being innocent. It is also the day we as a country stopped defending ourselves from terrorism and begun taking the fight to them. I remember where I was when the towers fell, hoping that Tim’s son got out of building 5 before it fell. I have visited ground zero and saw the emptiness and the memorials to the fallen. Robert and I flew over NY only 10 days after the attacks and saw the burning smoke still thick in the air. I feel that this was our generations Pearl Harbor and can only imagine the fright and panic they experienced that Sunday morning. But, I have never been afraid, for to do so is to give the terrorist a win. Remember there is a difference between the people who attacked us 5 years ago and where we are now, do not be misdirected. That being said, you don't always have to agree with the politicians, but never stop supporting our men and women in uniform, I don’t and never will. Maybe today is a good day to stop and reflect on what is truly important in life and what each of us is grateful for in our lives. I wish all peace and happiness. Fair winds, tight lines, and hope to see you on the salt.

As part of my remembrance of 9/11 my wife and I watched the movie United 93 last night. I don't think I was ready for the sobering experience and feelings it brought back from that awful day 5 years ago. It was an emotional movie, bringing out feelings of extreme sadness, much anger, and considerable pride in all the people who rose to the challenge that day - a few passangers on united 93, firemen, police, and countless other heros. In the end it made me proud to be an American.
