Here's a contest where you can win great prizes just by posting photos of any Striper you catch and release.
Post Images here in the Gallery or create a new post in this (Stripers Forever) forum and upload the image into the post.


The contest is to promote Stripers Forever, an organization that exists to Make Stripers a Gamefish.

Enter your photos within the week of the catch
(each week ends on Friday and deadline for entering photo is on Monday
midnight). The fish doesn't need to be measured or held out of the water
completely. Each photo wins you a raffle ticket for the weekly
and monthly draw. (see Striper Roundup Prizes )
Members of Stripers Forever get an extra raffle ticket with each post.

To post your photos, visit one of the online logs listed below or email your photos to
striperroundup@stripersforever.org : Raffle ticket numbers will be assigned and weekly/monthly draw winners will be announced on Ultimatekayakfishing.com, extremeedgefishing.com - Prizes, and at Kittery Trading Post. Weekly and monthly winners get to choose their prizes and they are mailed directly to the recipients.

Each photo entry also wins the angler one point towards the Winners
Circle of Striper Champions. Trophies, Certificates, and gifts will be
issued to the top points placers at the Kittery Trading Post Fishing Rodeos June 23-24th
and other event locations; however you do not have to be present to win.

There are three ways to enter a picture.

POINTS & TIE BREAKERS: In the event of a tie, bonus points will be applied to your cumulative total as follows: 1 point for being a Stripers Forever member. One point for presenting a copy of a letter sent to your congressman in support of HR 2086, the federal gamefish bill. In case of a persisting Tie, the winner will be the first to correctly answer a Striper-related question found in the text of Stripersforever.com

Geez,..I joined as soon as I saw it! Contest aside,.. who wouldn't support something like that?!!

Not sure if the contest is still going, this thread was from 2006

Still, it's not a bad idea to join and protect the Striper fisheries for our kids and grand-kids to enjoy.
