I got to Pleasur Beach before 6:00Am and setup my kayak and was ready to go by 6:00AM. One Problem, nobody else there, did I pick the wrong day or beach. I sat down and relaxed, waiting to see if anyone else would show. Around 6:30AM Gary (Gary G) got there and right behind him was Rob (Zenfisher). Rob (MountainBreeze) came about 5 minutes later and I found out I had the right beach, right day but wrong time... Sunday's outing is 6:00AM... todays was 7:00AM. smile.gif At least I erred on the right side this time.

We were in the water before 7 and was heading for Millstone. Wind out of the west, not bad, a little ocean surf but a clear sunny day. (At that time my phone rang and I had to walk someone through fixing a server.. made for a -not so fun- start on the fishing trip. I ended up a little behind the rest of the group but with the wind and tide it was not long before I caught back up again.

East side of outlet hels a lot of bluefish, I picked up a small striper, 17 - 18 inches. I paddled one pass and then paddled across to the the west side where the BIG fish was caught last week. Now it was dead low tide, rocks sticking out of the water and I hooked into a 22" blue fish that I released. MountainBreeze was hooking up on some stripers in the bowl where we got the 41" last week but no fish of any size.

We decided to go over to Twotree island to see if there any more fish there, marking a lot of fish on the paddle over in 30 to 60 feet of water. At Twotree I picked up another striper around 24" and MountainBreeze got a small one.

We decided to hit the beach at Harkness because it was so slow and the water was so low at Twotree with no action... We paddled ower marking fish in 50 and 60 feet of water again.

From White Point to Seaside point we got 3 stripers over 28" and a lot of smaller fish. Gary got the skung off with 2 fish over 30" Concratulations smile.gif
