Great link - I think this is something we all need to know. Because a lot of times the boaters has no clue

I agree that vigilance is important. Little guys always have to watch for big guys. Having said this, it is easier to watch for the big guys if you know the 
they are supposed to follow. Most of the big guys know and obey the rules, if the little guy knows them he can avoid or quickly pass through areas likely to have traffic. All that is left 
is to deal with the IDIOTS.
