I learned today about Wind. SW winds at 15mph can knock a yak off the car. It can knock a SeaWitch back to shore too. I blogged a funny blog about it but it wasn't so funny out in it, it was difficult. Today, it was about Air more than it was about water or fish. Simple, invisible, taken-for-granted Air.

How do you know/find out about Wind? I checked the weather.com this morning, and next to Wind, it said "Calm".
The trees outside my windows said "Calm".

Then, all of a sudden................

I was looking at the weather today and wondering why we had the lake effect wind here -----> now I know why tongue.gif

Thanks! This is awesome. My estimate of 15mph wasn't that far off, this says it was 11/12mph between 2:00 & 3:00 and that's about when I came off the water. Very nice website.
