Includes how to use pictures from the galley in a post on forum>

To create your own Album in the Gallery you have to set it up in "My Controls". (My controls is where you can change your default settings it's also known as My Profile on other forums)

  1. Start by clicking My Controls

  2. The menu on the left has Invision Gallery, click Your Albums (This will bring up the menu on the right "Click here to reate your first album")

  3. This will bring you to:
    Welcome to your control panel
No Albums Found Create Album, you have to be a member for this link to work
  4. This brings up the Album Manager and you have to enter:
    1. Album Name
    2. Album Description
    3. Make Album Public by checking the box. (If you leave it unchecked the images is for your viewing only. Private)

  5. Click Create Album
  6. Your New Album Is Created

Now you have several options including creating another album.

The choices in: Album Manager on the right hand side there is a menu: "Select an operation"
  1. Select an operation
  2. Edit Album Name, Album Description or make public /private
  3. Delete the album, you have to confirm the delete request.
  4. View Images in Album. (private)
  5. Upload Image
  6. Bulk Upload (Admin Group only)

The titles on top are info on any album and pictures you have:
  1. Information Names of your albums
  2. Status Public or Private album
  3. Category(not sure what this one is for)
  4. Comments Comments added to pictures in public albums
  5. Images how many images you have uploaded
  6. Controls Where you "Select an operation"

The only other thing for adding images should be the post screen and options when posting an image. By selecting "Upload Image" you can upload an image to your public or private album. To upload images to the Albums set up by me you have to do that in the Gallery.

The steps in the previous image is how you upload an image:
  1. Type a title.
  2. Add any comments, you can use smilies and any code you like.
  3. Click "Browse" to find the image on your computer.
  4. Click "Post Image" to add the image to your Album.

That's all there is to add an image to the gallery.
To use your images in a post you can: For public images go to the Gallery, select the image there to use in a post. Click on the image so it's selected large size(If image is in a private folder you have to click "View" from the "Album manager". Then with the mouse (arrow) over the picture right click and select
Next you have to select the image link (also known as the URL)on top of your browser window. It starts with "http://ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/uploads/..." (You have to select the whole link, and it will be high lighted blue when selected). Right click the link and "Copy".

Now the link is stored in memory and you can go to the forum, create a new post and add the picture by clicking the "img" tag and paste the image link in the popup box.

Enjoy your Albums and share your fishing joy with the rest of us. Nils

What Can We Do To Prevent It?

occasional-chamber

Hypothermia can happen in the middle of the summer in a kayak. This is the reason for this article and I hope by following it you may one day educate a new kayak fisherman or someone who is ocean kayaking. Cold air and water with temperatures below 70° Fahrenheit and wind chill can all contribute to life threatening hypothermia.

Fishing Kayak Anchor Rigging

How to avoid the mistakes others made before you. Read the instructions and ask in the forum if anything is not clear.

This is an combo anchor rigging tow rope. You can use it to set an anchor or a drift sock on the front or rear of you kayak. If you are wade fishing on the flats you can use it to attach the kayak to your wade belt. Because of the way the carabin hooks are used you can tow the kayak at 1 or 2 kayak lengths behind you.
