(This is a copy of news email sent to UKF forum members regarding the 2008 season here at UKF)This email is sent to Ultimate Kayak Fishing forum members where the box for 'Send me any updates sent by the board administrator' is checked, see instructions below on how to unsubscribe. I have to say thank you to those of you who "believed that I was not a figment of their imagination". Last half of 2007 work obligations cut my fishing to a minimum and my web site participation to a grinding stand still. 2008 is here and a lot has changed, fishing is starting soon from the kayak and I will be there. With my current work load I will be fishing a lot more this summer and I hope to see you on the water.
An addition to the forum is the new Blog that is open to all forum members. The blogs are individual and you as a user will have full control over what goes on your blog. You can set a blog public or private and share a private blog with forum friends. I will add a tutorial on the blog and you can PM me if you have a question on how to set it up or incorporate your gallery pictures into your blog.
![]() Ultimate Kayak Fishing forum members with help from forum members from other online websites have a booth at the 2008 RISAA show April 4-6 where we will promote kayak fishing, kayak rigging and talk about kayak fishing (tell fish tales). I hope to see you there and if you have some time to hang out with us at the show or help out you can PM me for my phone number and I'll add you to the list. If you come to the show please stop by the booth and introduce yourself. The 2008 Kayak Fishing Rodeo is scheduled for June 21 & 22 and is hosted by YakDawgs and Ultimate Kayak Fishing. This years donations will go to Casting For Recovery. I hope to see you in Stonington for the Rodeo and remember you can fish anytime between 6:00AM Saturday to 12:00 noon Sunday with a 1 hour grace period for your check in Sunday. Other news: I have to say Kevin and Roland is doing a great job with their new kayak fishing website. They started YakDawgs to fill a need and as a place for friends and customers to get together. Contact the "YakDawgs at yakdawgs.com" if you need a guide or know someone who is looking for a guide to get into kayak fishing or someone who is already fishing from their kayak but are looking to get into (big) fish. I do not intend to send out a lot of "bulk" email like this one on a regular bases but with all the changes and good news I had to spread the word. Tight lines this summer, hope to see you on the water, at the Rodeo, RISAA show, or online at the forum. Thank you Nils Christensen NilsC (forum handle) (Please let me know if you receive more than one copy of this email so I can adjust the settings for any future emails I send) ------------------------------------- Ultimate Kayak Fishing Statistics: ------------------------------------- Registered Users: 563 Total Posts: 51917 ------------------------------------- Handy Links ------------------------------------- Board Address: http://www.ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/index.php Log In: http://www.ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/index.php?act=Login&CODE=00 Lost Password Recovery: http://www.ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=10 ------------------------------------- How to unsubscribe ------------------------------------- Visit your email preferences (http://www.ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=02) and ensure that the box for 'Send me any updates sent by the board administrator' is unchecked and submit the form. |
