King Cove and Ultimate Kayak Fishing are proud to announce the 3rd Annual Northeast Kayak Fishing Rodeo to be held June 10th and 11th 2006 in Historic Stonington Connecticut, on picturesque Wequetquock Cove.

Fish the Little Narragansett Bay and the surrounding waters of Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York for some of the best Striped Bass, Bluefish, and Fluke action to be found. There will be a Catch & Release and Big Fish Division with prizes for the Largest Fish in each. At the close of the rodeo, join us at the Marina for awards, prizes, and a great cookout. Fun for the whole family, all ages, and skill levels are welcomed. The Marina has everything you could possibly need from tackle, bait, or kayaks with its outfitting and kayak center on a first come basis. This event is intended to introduce beginners to the world of kayak fishing and expand the limits of those who are more advanced.

For those not interested in fishing, the area is loaded with activities and attractions for all, from beaches, parks, and nature centers; to museums, theaters, spas, casinos, and vineyards. Check out Stonington with its active fishing fleet, wandering streets, farmers market, and beautiful views of Fishers Island Sound. Shop downtown Mystic or Olde Mystic Village unique stores, or visit the Seaport or Aquarium. Venture to Rhode Island to Watch Hill with its quaint little shops, Famous Flying Horse Carousel, or the many beaches along the Rhode Island coast.
