Main Street Dock and Beach

Main Street Dock and Beach is one of my night launch locations for fishing Ram I Island and Ram I shoal. Paddle east from Ram Island and fish around the Swimming Rock Nun buoy. South of Ram Island you have Ram I reef with a 30 foot drop on each side of it. Bring a backup compass when fishing at night, fog rolls in fast and thick as soup during dog days of summer

From East: Go West on I-95 S toward Exit 90. Take exit 90 for CT-27 for 0.3 mile.
Turn left at CT-27/Rte-27/Whitehall Ave, continue to follow CT-27/Rte-27 for 1.5 miles.
Turn right at Holmes St for 0.3 mile.
Turn right at E Main St/Rte-1/US-1, continue to follow E Main St/US-1 for 0.2 mile.
Turn left at CT-215/Water St, continue to follow CT-215 for 2.4 miles
Turn left at Mosher St for 0.1 mi, turn right to stay on Mosher St for 404 ft.
Turn left at Main St for 0.2 mile, launch stragth ahead.

From West: Go East on I-95 N. Take exit 89 for Allyn St for 0.3 mile.
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for MYSTIC and merge onto Allyn St drive 1.3 miles, continue on W Mystic Ave for 0.5 mile.
Turn right at CT-215/Noank Rd, continue to follow CT-215 for 1.7 miles.
Turn left at Mosher St for 0.1 mile.
Turn right to stay on Mosher St for 404 ft.
Turn left at Main St for 0.2 mile, launch stragth ahead.
